It’s still a fully functional station today, and watching the organized chaos of commuters here is an experience in itself.

5. Gateway of India and Taj Mahal Palace: No trip to Mumbai is complete without visiting this iconic duo. The Gateway of India, built in 1924, is a grand arch that faces the Arabian Sea. It’s a popular gathering spot and a symbol of Mumbai’s colonial past. Right across the street is the luxurious Taj Mahal Palace, a hotel that has been an architectural masterpiece and a hospitality icon for over a century.

If time allows, Mumbai offers even more:
